Is a white PC case better than a black PSU?

White looks kinda good but it’s more expensive: ( Funny this thread notification comes along and people saying white is better. I'm building my first PC and the only variant of the case I wanted was the white one. The white psu was also cheaper than the black so I decided to go white, but thinking it wouldn't look as good as black.

Should I choose a white case or a black case?

If your case is gonna be within direct sunlight (eg: by a Window), then a white case would be a better choice over black. However, if the case is situated away from the Window, under a desk, or otherwise not in direct sunlight, then the colour pretty much doesn't matter.

Is black better than white?

Black is way easier to hide a wire or two, with white it’s got to be clean and cable managed perfectly to look good. I love how sleek a glossy black build with no RGB looks, however seeing how bright a white build gets with all its RGB is just as astounding to me. I like having black complimented with white parts. Why do people prefer white cases over black cases?

The reason is because I'm big on RGB, and white cases show off colors so much better than black cases. white = shows colours better black = cheaper I have always liked black builds a little bit more. Also kind of biased towards white components because of how ridiculously expensive they are.

Other than that subjective difference, white v. black for electronics has pretty much always been a bit of a tug-o-war or see-saw. With PC cases, black has been dominant for some time, and more recently more white cases have been produced and get featured on instagram and merchant pages etc, so they are being "pushed" a little now.
